More than anything else on earth, the Procurator hated the smell of rose oil, and now all signs portended that this would be a bad day, since that smell had pursued the Procurator since early this morning. It seemed to the Procurator that the smell of roses billowed from the cypresses and palms in the garden, that the smell of leather and the guard was laced with that damnable rosy stream. The palace, from the wings to the rear, where the first cohort of the Twelfth Lightningswift Legion that had come to Yershalaim with the Procurator, was lodged, had filled with mist up to the colonnade across the topmost terrace of the garden, and to the bitter smoke announcing that the centurial cooks had started preparing the midday meal, was added that same, oily, rosy smell. Oh my gods, my gods, why are you punishing me?

Мне и без того знаком весь Петербург; вот почему мне и показалось, что меня все покидают, когда весь Петербург поднялся и вдруг уехал на дачу. Мне страшно стало оставаться одному, и целых три дня я бродил по городу в глубокой тоске, решительно не понимая, что со мной делается. Пойду ли на Невский, пойду ли в сад, брожу ли по набережной — ни одного лица из тех, кого привык встречать в том же месте, в известный час целый год. Они, конечно, не знают меня, да я-то их знаю.

arka Sans is inspired by the signs and old geometric typefaces used in the South of Italy. A straightforward, minimalist, low-contrast sans-serif font that combines strict geometricity, subtle details, and high precision in design. Made to be perfect-looking both on printed designs and on-screed graphics. It’s available in gradations from Light to Regular with 150, 200, 250, 300, and 350 weights. We’re also working on Compressed-Expanded, Mono, Inverted, and regular Italics variations for the widest possible choice for all of the designs.
As well there are a few special cuts and stylistic alternates in Latin (G, K, R, Y, f, k, r, t, y), Cyrillic (К, г, ж, к, л, y, ф), mono numbers, and alternates (3, 6, 8, 9, slashed 0), case sensitive features, and punctuation to make your text straightforward and hard with standard letters or more friendly with alternates.
In a typeset of text or title alternatives can be mix-and-matched with classic letters to create a variety of different rhythms, moods, and flavors.
